We grow 19 varieties of apples that ripen at different times throughout the season, ensuring a continuous supply of fresh apples.
At Baker Farm, we offer a range of activities that capture the charm of traditional farm life. Enjoy weekend tractor-drawn wagon rides that provide a scenic tour of our beautiful farmland. Our corn maze is open to all patrons, offering a fun and adventurous way to explore the farm. What are the rules for U-Pick at Baker Farm?
•Only pick what you intend to purchase: Ensure you only pick the fruits you plan to buy.
•Pre-purchased bags are required: Bags must be purchased before entering the orchard.
•Don’t over-pick: Only pick as much as fits into your bag.
•Handle trees gently: Don’t climb or shake the trees to avoid damaging them.
•Dispose of trash properly: Please keep the farm clean by disposing of trash in designated areas.
Can I bring my dog to the farm?
Yes, well-behaved, socialized dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after.
What are the hours of operation for U-Pick?
U-Pick is open daily Monday through Friday from 11 AM - 6 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Are there specific techniques for picking apples?
Yes, use one hand to hold the branch and gently turn the apple upward with your forefinger and thumb until it releases. Avoid pulling down to prevent damaging the tree.
Do apple varieties mature at different times?
Yes, different apple varieties mature at various times. Only pick in designated marked areas based on the variety available for picking.
Can children participate in U-Pick?
Yes, but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
What should large groups do before visiting?
Parties of 10 or more should call ahead to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Can we visit the farm after hours?
No, absolutely no one is allowed on the property when the farm is closed.
What payment methods does Baker Farm accept?
